Mothers

Liz, MFA, is an actor, director and Professor of Acting at Utah Valley University. As an undergrad student at UVU, she was awarded Best Actress by the Kennedy Center for her role in Vincent in Brixton (Chris Clark, UVU). Since finishing her Masters degree at the Royal Conservatoire of Birmingham, UK, she has worked in film and on stage in her local Utah community; a community that she loves! Her acting credits include Nurse in the Creekside Theater Festivals production of Romeo and Juliet, Annie in Silent Sky (Pygmalion Productions), Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing (Renaissance Now), Annie in Misery (Dirty Birdy Theater). In 2017, her devised one-woman show, Do You Want to See Me Naked? (Morag Shepherd, Sackerson) won Best One Person Show and Critics Choice at the Great Salt Lake Fringe Festival and was invited to participate in the United Solo Festival in New York City and the Tucson Fringe Festival. Her directing credits include Tigers Be Still (Pygmalion Productions), Persuasion (UVU), and How I Learned to Drive (An Other Theater Company).
